WINTER is coming and we do not want to be left behind. We waited a sad, dull year without the Game of Thrones series and now it’s finally here. On the season finale of GoT, we want to know who gets killed and who survives in the end. What house remains? And more, importantly, who gets seated on the Iron Throne?
Do you not have a television or an HBO channel back home? Fret not because bars and restaurants here in Davao City will be having a viewing party. Bring your friends to any of these places and watch the first episode of the season finale with the best people.
1. Suazo Bar
Fiction Folk, the same people behind the Game of Thrones Trivia Nights last Thursday, April 11, will be hosting GoT viewing party in Suazo at 7 p.m. People can come as early as 4:30 p.m. as they will also be showing earlier episodes: Battle of the Bastards, The Dragon, and The Wolf. The first episode of Season 8 will be shown by 7 p.m.
Bonus: There will be a raffle care of The Mind Palace by the end of the season. The winner will bring home a complete set of GoT books. Each time you attend a viewing party, which will be every Monday 7 p.m., you are entitled for one raffle ticket.
Bonus #2: Suazo will be serving Johnnie White Walker and Night King’s Sour. There will also be red wine available in the bar!
Bonus #3: The viewing party is open to everyone, there will be no door charge plus you can have your dinner there.
Suazo is located at Suazo St., a few floors above Swallow Tire and Car Parts Shop.
2. The Epicurious Gastropub
If you’re free on a Monday morning and you want to watch GoT as early as 9 a.m. to avoid possibilities of spoilers, then head on to The Epicurious Gastropub at the ground floor of Dover Lanes Bldg., Bonifacio cor. Padre Gomez St. Just order from their Breakfast Promo and you’re all set for the White Walkers.
You can choose from Boneless Bangus (P59), Crispy Bacon-cut Pork (P59), Beef Tapa (79), Pork Tocino (P59), and Hungarian Sausage (P99) for your breakfast.
Because who says you can’t watch GoT while having your breakfast?
3. Think Up
There will also be a viewing party up north. Think Up coffee shop, which is located at Unit 3, Bldg. 83, J.P. Laurel near Red Planet Hotel, will also be having a viewing party at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.
Bonus #1: They will be launching their newest GoT-inspired coffees: Flat White Walker and the Valyrian Double Shot Espresso during the viewing party
