Bacolod Council regular session set on April 16

THE Bacolod City Council will hold its regular session at the Provincial Board in the city on Tuesday, April 16.

Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran on Monday, April 15, said that because of the long holiday this week, the councilors decided to move the regular session this morning instead of Wednesday morning, April 17.

“It’s a lent season so the councilors agreed to move the regular session,” he said.

The City Council earlier amended its internal rules to hold its regular session every Wednesday morning until the end of election period.

Since it’s a campaign period, the councilors requested to hold their session at 10 a.m. instead of 3 p.m. so they will have time to campaign in the afternoon. (MAP)
