A delightful stay at Marco Polo – HK

AFTER an all-day Disneyland adventure, all I wanted to do was rest, wallow in bed, bury myself with soft pillows and blanket or relax on a couch while looking out from a window and enjoying the city’s night scene with a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

Dreamy it is. But that was exactly what we experienced during our stay at Marco Polo Hong Kong.

For our two-night stay, we were lucky to have experienced the Harbour View Rooms and Suites. The view from our room was grand and impressive - unobstructed panoramic Victoria Harbour views and Hong Kong iconic skyline.

The rest we had in this posh hotel was exactly what we need to reload our bodies with the right amount of energy for our next day tour. Of course, we did not skip the sumptuous breakfast at Café Marco.

But what I love most about Marco Polo Hong Kong is its strategic location, especially for those first-time travelers in Hong Kong. It is located along Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, at the heart of the city’s busiest commercial, shopping, and business hub.

Major tourist attractions such as Kowloon Park, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Space Museum, The Star Ferry, and Hong Kong Cultural Centre are just stone’s throw away.

On the day when we were bound to explore Macau, we walked from the hotel for about 10 minutes to China Ferry Terminal at 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.

And if guests feel like shopping, Hong Kong’s largest shopping complex is just right next door – the Harbour City.

Spending our last two nights in Hong Kong at Marco Polo Hotel was a delight as we were given a perfect blend of warm Asian hospitality. It was such a good way to end our Hong Kong – Macau escapade!
