ROMAN Catholic devotees flocked to their annual devotional sites for the crucifixion of Christ on Good Friday.

Maunday Thursday and Good Friday were spent in prayer and procession to relive the passion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ before he was nailed to the cross.

In his message last year on Christ’s resurrection from the dead, Archbishop Jose Palma said to be like Jesus, one had to overcome personal transgressions and be truly “resurrected” by self-renewal. (VLA)
