Camotes school alumni set grand reunion in May

THE CLASS ‘66 of Camotes Visayan Institute (CVI) will hold its grand class reunion on May 26.

Class president Rogelio Pono encouraged his batchmates to be ready for the event.

He said there will be a motorcade at 8 a.m. in Poro and Tudela. All members will wear the batch’s shirts that will be provided for free.

Pono said he wants to hold the reunion for two days to make the affair grand.

On the first day, he said, there will be a fellowship and lunch at the newly renovated CVI campus. Later at night, there will be a disco inside the school’s premises.

A beach party and a sing-along contest will be held on the second day.

Pono said he asked his cousin, Gabriel Malagar, to be the contact person for interested CVI alumni. Malagar’s contact numbers are 517-9353 (landline) and 0995-082-3418 (mobile phone).

The Class ‘66 president asked his fellow batchmates to register early so he could determine the number of shirts to be printed.

Pono said he would appreciate if all his batchmates could contribute any amount for the rare occasion, which only happens every 10 years. (S)
