ABEKA to push for 5-year guard license validity

THE ABEKA Partylist has vowed to push for initiative to ensure that licenses of security guards all over the country will be valid for five years.

The organization said this may be implemented through a law it intends to sponsor in Congress.

Pamintuan, the incumbent mayor of Angeles City and national president of the League of Cities of the Philippines, added that “increasing the validity of security guards licenses to 5 years will be one of the priority measures of ABEKA partylist at the House of Representatives.”

ABEKA is one of the 134 Commission on Elections-accredited partylist groups campaigning for 60 congressional seats allocated for the partylist system. (PR)
