KAPAMILY actress Angel Locsin untiringly answers questions about her “relationship” with Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist Chito Miranda.
Though Angel kept on saying they are just friends, news circulated over the weekend that they are already on their second month as girlfriend-boyfriend.
In a television interview, Angel once again denied all the rumors.
“Nagulat ako. Sa Twitter everyday po talaga na may nagtatanong kahit everyday din ako naglalabas ng statement na hindi po kami, hindi po kami nagliligawan, magkaibigan lang po kami,” she said.
In her Twitter account, Angel posted this message last February 20, which was directly linked to Chito's account.
"@chitomirandajr chito! :) 2 months na pala tayo! :p Pero di mo pa alam :) Ako din, kanina lang! :p Happy monthsary kung ganun! \m/ wahaha!:)"
In response to this, Chito posted his tweet the same day.
"@143redangel Hahaha!!! Balita ko nga eh...di man lang tayo sinabihan na tayo na pala. Two months na pala tayo?! Happy monthsary!!! Hahaha!!!"
Chito, in another television interview, said there's no reason for him not to tell everybody if they are truly in a relationship.
“That's weird. Tumatambay lang kami. Kung totoo yun pagmamalaki ko yun eh. Hindi eh, para kaming magkakapatid talaga,” he said.
On her part, Angel echoes Chito’s statement.
“Kasi kung kami ni Chito bakit hindi namin aaminin, kasi magkaibigan lang talaga kami,” she said.
Even her ex-boyfriend host Luis Manzano is clearing all rumors on the Angel-Chito issue.
“No its not true. Isa pong barkada sila, kahit ako nakakasama ko sila. The fact na nagkakasama kami sa bahay ni Angel, I don't think she'll put any of us in that situation. Hindi naman ganun si Angel,” he said.
Angel added that she's not yet ready to date or entertain any suitors now and that they (Luis) are okay.
Though Chito and Angel cleared the rumors, they are still being asked by a lot of their followers in Twitter.
Chito posted this tweet on his account on February 22.
“Sa mga mahilig sa chismis, #1.Di po kami ni Angel. We are just friends. :) #2. Kahit break na kami ni Kaye, we still hangout as friends. Ok?"
A day earlier to the Chito’s post, Angel tweeted this:
"Kkatapos lng ng bday dnner pra sa daddy ko? tnx sa mga pmunta guys, ilang beses na po nmin nsagot ito, DI PO KMI NI CHITO. Sna ok na po."
Angel is currently nominated for the celebrity category of the Shorty Awards, an award giving body that honors the best people and organization on Twitter.
It is being compared to the Oscars of Hollywood and Tonys of Broadway.
