P113,000 shabu seized in NegOcc drug busts

POLICEMEN in Negros Occidental seized an estimated P113,200 worth of illegal drugs in separate raids from April 24 to 25.

On April 25, JunJun Rosario, 38, of Barangay 1, Bacolod City was arrested by personnel of Police Station at the said village after he allegedly yielded 26 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P60,000, the P300 marked money, drug paraphernalia, weighing scale, and a coin purse. He is a high value target, police records showed.

Early Thursday morning, Freddie Infante, 41, of Barangay I-Poblacion, E.B. Magalona town was arrested at the said barangay which resulted to the recovery of four sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,200, and the P200 marked money.

In a separate operation in Victorias City, Ian Kim Florete, 24, of Barangay 13; and a 17-year-old girl, whose name was withheld, were arrested for allegedly engaging in sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs at the said village.

Police confiscated from them eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, the P400 marked money, P361 in cash, two lighters, a canister, coin purse, and two cellular phones.

Two days ago, Andrew Pabon, 28, of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City was arrested at the said village on April 24 after police recovered from him three sachets of suspected shabu worth P45,000, a brown envelope, the P500 marked money, P3,000 boodle money, P50 in cash, and a cellular phone.

Authorities also allegedly seized from Pabon a .9mm black widow caliber revolver, and five ammunition of the said firearm.
