Pangan: Halili's priority projects

AS THE second top official of the Mabalacat City Government, City Vice Mayor Christian C. Halili also has priority projects similar to, but complementary to those of the local chief executive.

Foremost of his priority projects, which he plans to implement if elected mayor, is the establishment of a world-class medical center to be known as the Mabalacat City Medical Center with all the amenities obtaining in an ultra-modern hospital.

It is the aim of the city vice mayor to see a hassle-free rendition of medical treatment especially to the marginalized sector who cannot afford to buy medicines and supplies.

He has other noteworthy projects such as the grant of scholarship privileges to high school and college students of the city; the maximization of employment opportunities and skills of the city's labor force, in coordination with the City Employment Service Office (Ceso) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or Tesda.

He plans to continue and augment the grant of free medicines, medical check-ups and social pensions of senior citizens and the continuous financial assistance through the 4Ps and the assistance to persons with disabilities (PWDs).

On top of all these priorities is the commitment of mayoralty candidate Christian C. Halili to promote a local governance built on transparency and full accountability.

As a person, Christian is a God-fearing, law-abiding citizen who fully commits himself to the service of his city mates and has only their welfare in his list of priorities.

If elected to the top post in the Mabalacat City government, we expect him to be more inclusive and comprehensive in the performance of his newfound duties as the local chief executive just like his late father, Mayor Fred C. Halili and his late uncle, former board member Tars DC Halili.

With a mere two weeks before the May 13 election, it is not farfetched that the new City Mayor Christian C. Halili will accomplish all his objectives and commitments.
