“I play each point like my life depends on it!”

CONGRATULATIONS and Godspeed to Angelyn Trisha Mae Toliver Atos, 13 years old of Christian Legacy Academy who will be undergoing a two-week tennis training program/scholarship at the Rafa Nadal Academy (Mallorca, Spain) this April 28 to May 12. She is the only female among the seven participants for the 14 years under category chosen nationwide.

Trisha started playing tennis at seven years old under the tutelage of his father Mark Henry and encouragement from mom Jeannie Lyn. The passion for tennis runs in the blood as great grandfather Dr. Gregorio Atos (Baguio Tennis Club Founder), grandparents Allan Atos and Pacita Atos (PP BTC), and other relatives are also aficionados.

Trisha dreams of being a professional tennis player and physician someday. Trisha’s trainers are Eduardo Magno (Pangasinan), Kurt Yacuan and Jun Cortez of the BTC.

Trisha is inspired by Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic who are internationally renowned tennis professionals. Trisha does regular jogging, foot work, cross fit at the gym and hiking with her pet dogs to keep her prepared and fit.

Special thanks to Cesz Calaguas (Professional Events & Concepts Specialists) for directing the photo shoot and imparting inspiring words.
