AUTHORITIES nabbed the top two Provincial Target Drug Personality on Saturday, April 27 at Purok Gemelina, Aurora Extension, Barangay San Miguel, Digos City for violation of Republic Act 9165 known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act.
The composite team from the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Davao, together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Davao, conducted an anti-illegal drug operation and served a warrant of arrest against Cristina Durano-Bernat, 43.
During their search operation, they recovered pieces of evidence including three pieces of large heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; two medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be dhabu; 10 small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; and other drug parephernalia.
The big-time drug suspect is listed in the Provincial Priority Target while the seized evidence has an estimated street value of more or less P240,000.
PRO-Davao regional director Brigadier General Marcelo Morales lauded his personnel for their accomplishment and continues effort in curbing illicit drugs and for running after drug suspects.
Bernat will be facing charges for violation RA 9165.
