TANANG 132 ka local government units (LGUs) sa Central Visayas (CV) sa rehiyon ang nipatuman isip institusyon sa Family Development Session (FDS).
“We commend all the LGUs who passed a local policy either an Executive Order or a Sangguniang Bayan resolution in strengthening FDS in their locality,” matod ni Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) -7 OIC Regional Director Rebecca Geamala.

Pananglitan, dason niya, ang FDS module bahin sa health and nutrition, ang pakuha sa tukma nga tawo nga motuki gikan sa local nutritionist-dietician.
Kon ang hisgotan bahin sa fire prevention, mahimong motawag sa Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) alang sa pagtuki niini.
Bahin sa peace and order sa komunidad, ang lokal nga kapulisan maoy hatagan sa katungod sa pagtuki niini.
Ang FDS team sa city o municipal level gitahasan sa pagplano ug paghimo og FDS sama sa pagkuha og resource persons bahin sa gikatakda nga schedule ug pagumol o paghimo og modules basi sa panginahanglan sa partner-beneficiaries.
Ang FDS team maahimong langkiban sa mga sakop sa Local/Municipal Advisory Committee, City/Municipal Action Team, partner Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) ug ubang stakeholders.
“We further encourage all LGUs to strengthen the FDS team so that we can provide other interventions to our 4Ps partner-beneficiaries. Through the FDS, we can impart to them valuable information which they can use for their family and this will benefit the whole community,” matod ni Geamala.
Ang FDS maoy gawsanan alang sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) partner-beneficiaries sa pagpalambo ug pagkuha og bag-ong kahanas ug kahibalo sa pagtubag sa papel isip mga ginikanan ug responsibilidad sama sa health ug nutrition, education ug psychosocial needs sa kabataan; pagpalambo sa positive family values; ug pagpalig-on sa rekasyon sa mga magtiayon.
Sa pagtambong sa FDS iusa sa conditionalities sa Pantawid Pamilya.
Ang FDS nagpatuman sa neighborhood-based family psycho-educational activities sa pagpalambo. paghatag og gahom ug magmatuto sa mga pamilya ngadto sa lig-ong kapasidad aron makakab-ot sa ilang responsibilidad lakip sa pag-apil sa mga kal9hokan sa kalamboan sa komunidad.
Ang FDS naghatag sa package of learning modules nga naglakip sa Concepts and Design sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Responsible Parenthood ug The Family and the Community.
Ubang developed ug enhanced modules kabahin sa on Active Citizenship, Family and Community-based Disaster Preparedness, Hunger and Food Insecurity Mitigation, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, Positive Discipline ug ang Youth Development Sessions (YDS). (PR)
