A NON-GOVERNMENTAL, non-partisan, not for profit group of volunteers, Go Vote Movement, is urging all registered voters to vote on May 13 through the conduct of free voters' seminars all over the country.

Go Vote Movement, which had its grand launching last April 1, aims to encourage more registered Filipinos to vote through educating and disseminating information on the pertinent laws and rules on the conduct of elections in the Philippines to all sectors and stakeholders.

"We believe that every vote is a right, every vote is a duty, every vote is a stake in to the future and we hope to encourage everyone to vote by the conduct of free voters education seminar all over the country," said lawyer Erickson Balmes, president and convenor of Go Vote Movement.

The group's goal is also to be the country's premiere free election educational forum advocating free, honest, transparent and accessible elections with the results fully reflecting the will of the electorate.

"We further believe that, if by our humble efforts, the voter's turnout for the 2019 mid-term elections will be larger than that of the 2013 midterm elections, then we have done our job," Balmes said.

The Go Vote Movement has already conducted several seminars in different schools starting last March.

It also recently concluded a series of lecture in different cities and municipalities in Eastern Visayas such as Tacloban, Ormoc, Capoocan, Borongan, and Calbalogan.

Those who are interested to avail of the free voters' seminars, Balmes said they can be contacted through sending an email to govotemovement@gmail.com or via their contact numbers 0945-348-3784 or 0961-279-8185.
