FAVORITE beauty authority of celebrities, Fanny Serrano, faced the Cebu media as Bluesky ambassador last Wednesday, April 24, in one of the function rooms of bai Hotel. With Fanny were Binondo Beauty Supply chief executive officer and president Rodney Palaginog, and Banbi Ng of HMB Trading. Binondo Beauty Supply distributes the Bluesky products nationwide with HMB Trading as its Cebu counterpart.
Bluesky Gel Polish employs modern technology in its application with the use of magnets, ultraviolet and LED lamps, cleanser wipes and others, making the end result more reliable and trustworthy.
Fanny revealed that he had to scrutinize the product line before agreeing to put his credibility on the line as its beauty ambassador. As an endorser, Fanny puts due importance to honesty saying he “cannot afford to lose his credibility by endorsing low quality products.” He feels that endorsing products of questionable quality is tantamount to theft.
Palaginog aims to launch the product in Baguio, Tagaytay, Davao and other cities in the country. He likewise plans to set up an academy for nails and beauty, to make those who work in beauty parlors “technically capable,” and not just relying on experience in performing their jobs.
The Cebu launch featured a product demonstration, followed by a fashion show that showcased nail designs. Binibining Cebu 2018 Steffi Aberasturi led Cebu and Manila models in flashing the nail designs by Rocky Gathercole and Fanny himself.
