Bounty up for arrest of Garcia twin slay suspects

ADDITIONAL bounty is up for the arrest of the suspects in the killing of Moises Padilla Councilor Jose Antonio Garcia and his uncle Mark Garcia.

Board Member David Albert Lacson, chair of the committee on peace and order of the Negros Occidental Provincial Board, will file a resolution to give additional bounty for the arrest of the killers of the two members of the Garcias.

Lacson said Wednesday, May 1, he will author the resolution when they resume the regular session of the provincial board next week.

Lacson was unable to submit his proposed resolution on Wednesday due to it being a holiday.

He said that he cannot yet determine the exact amount as it will be discussed during the session when he presents his resolution.

As of Wednesday, the bounty offered is P4.5 million.

Of the total amount, P1 million is offered by Governor Alfredo Marañon, P1 million by Third District Rep. Alfredo Benitez and P2.5 million by Moises Padilla Councilor Agustin Grande. (TDE)
