Vallacar Transit asks netizens not to be judgmental

THE Vallacar Transit, Inc. (VTI) that owns Ceres Bus is appealing to netizens to avoid being judgmental especially with their posts on social media.

Jade Marquez-Seballos, media relations officer of VTI made the reaction Wednesday, May 1, as there were netizens who immediately posted on social media blaming Ceres for the accident in Bago City.

Four passengers were wounded Wednesday when a Ceres bus bound for Bacolod City from Kabankalan City fell on its side after the driver avoided a head-on collision with a Montero vehicle whose driver reportedly fell asleep while driving from Bacolod City to the southern part of the province.

“There were instances, like what happened yesterday, that incidents involving Ceres buses are not due to the fault of our drivers. So we would like to appeal to the netizens to stop being judgmental without getting first the result of the investigation of the authorities,” Seballos said.

Seballos said that the four wounded passengers were outpatient at the Bago District Hospital.

“If our driver has not maneuvered, head-on collision could have happened,” Seballos added.

She added that VTI has been taking care of its responsibilities in case of accidents involving their units. (TDE)
