Group sets cycling challenge in Clark Freeport on May 25

CLARK FREEPORT -- The Pampanga Bike Adventure Tour (PBAT) has scheduled its 2nd Clark Cycling Challenge on May 25.

Events lead organizer Edna De Jesus Eufemio said the Clark Cycling Challenge is a bicycle fun ride around the Freeport's tourism spots and business districts.

"It's our second year. We are inviting all cycling enthusiasts and riders to join the 2nd Clark Cycling Challenge on May 25, 2019. This is a fun ride around Clark tourism and business destinations, share bonding moments with your friends and meet new members of the biking communities in and around Manila and Central Luzon," Eufemio said.

She added that the outdoor event is open to individuals who use any "human-powered" bikes.

Cyclists and groups who are interested to join the cycling challenge may register online using IOS (Apple) and Android systems by downloading the Clark Cycling Challenge application.

Eufemio thanked their sponsors, including the Clark Development Corporation, Dinosaurs Island, My Haven Spa, The Mansions, Xenia Hotel, Widus Hotel and Casino, Alpha Aviation Group, W Clark Hotel and Resort, El Kabayo, Koko Buri, EmergeLocal, Department of Tourism Region 3, Taisho Pharma, and others.

Clark has become a favorite site for duathlon, bike races, and other similar outdoor events.

CDC President Noel F. Manankil recently announced the completion of bike lanes inside the Freeport.

This will allow a safe ride and tour for bikers inside this fast-growing tourist destination.
