2,000 bata sa DavNor miapil summer sports

DAVAO DEL NORTE -- Sobra 2,000 ka kabataan ang miapil karon nga tuig sa libre nga Summer Sports and Arts Camp sa Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex sa Tagum City.

Ang sports camp nga gihimo Abril 22 ngadto Mayo 1 ning tuig, bukas sa tanang 8-12 anyos nga buot makat-on sa basic sa arnis, athletics, basketball, chess, football, karatedo, sepak takraw, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball ug futsal.

Samtang ang arts camp, nga gihimo Mayo 1 ngadto 10, alang sab ngadto sa 10-15 anyos nga interesadong makat-on sa basic lessons sa music (voice, guitar, keyboard, drums, bass), dance (contemporary, pop/hiphop, cultural, theater), painting (acrylic, oil pastel, sketching, doodle).

Ang camp nagtanyag sab og Math ug English tutorials sa grade 9 ug 10 students.

Si Governor Anthony del Rosario mipasabot sa importansiya sa isports ug arts sa pag-develop sa karakter, lakip na physical ug mental abilities sa kabataan.

“Sports is a great way (to) teach children valuable life skills as they play. Many of the skills necessary to be successful in sports are the same skills needed to be successful in life,” sigun sa gobernador.

Ang sports summer camp, nga anaa na’s ikawalong tuig, nakaprodyus na sab og ubay-ubay sa mga atletang mirepresenta sa probinsiya sa regional ug national athletic competitions.
