THE Cagayan de Oro City’s paddlers ruled the PWD division of the 2019 Cebu City Dragonboat Regatta at the Bayfront Il Corso Mall, South Road Properties on Saturday, May 4.
CDOC-PWD team clocked 58.17 seconds in the final heat to win the 200-meter small boat PWD title.
Kujaw Tiger Dragons of Cortes, Surigao del Sur crossed the finish line in 1:00.75 to take second place, while Bugsay San Carlos of San Carlos City Negros Oriental timed 1:03.83 for third place.
The PWD division was the first to finish since it only had few participants. The championship for the rest of the categories will be played on Sunday, May 5. (RSC)
