ANG film tourism sa Davao City nakabaton og dakong kalambuan sa paghiusa sa Film Development Council of the Philippines pinaagi sa Philippine Film Export Services Office (PFESO) ug Davao Tourism Association (Data).
Si David Fabros, hepe sa PFESO, nagkanayon nga may daghang maanindot nga dapit nga mapakita ang Davao City ug rehiyon nga makadani sa film tourism.
“Davao is very fast, in terms of topography there are so many possibilities you can get natural locations here, if you want nature, if you want cityscapes, if you want industrial, you can find many places here in Davao,” ni Fabros.
Suma niya nga ang Davao City downtown area sa Claveria ug San Pedro streets susama sa Ho Chi Minh o Bangkok nga posible sa pag-shoot.
“It’s so easy to find any location that you need here in Davao,” ni Fabros.
Ang DATA nagmuntar og film desk nga mokoordinar sa “potential locators for film shoots” sa Davao.
Ang FDCP motabang sa pag-set up sa private sector-led film desk ug ipromotar ang Davao sa film tourism.
Samtang si Data president Gatchi Gatchalian nagsulti nga buot niyang ang Davao City mahimong inila nga lokasyon sa mga dagkong movie and television productions.
