Abrigo: Bikoy: A boon or bane to Bong?

Abrigo: Bikoy: A boon or bane to Bong?

WHOEVER commissioned Peter Joemel Advincula, the self-confessed “Bikoy” to come up with a bombshell, has already perfected the purpose one week ahead of the midterm election.

When the National Bureau of Investigation clutched one Rodel Jayme followed by the grand entrance of Peter Joemel Advincula to the circus, it brought our focus to the billiard table. Therein we saw Bikoy like a cue ball hitting Bong Go on the precise angle, in a calculated impact, and at the right time too, sending Bong to the sure hole for victory.

Few hours after the press conference at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines national headquarters, Kuya Bong stripped himself in public to demonstrate his innocence against Bikoy’s accusing finger. His removing of shirt in front of the national televisions is not an ordinary waving of the beacon of truth and belying Bikoy’s allegation, but a naïve act of cooperation while somebody is pushing him to the extreme popularity. But we don’t know for sure whose hand is driving the cue stick, the kinetics that pushed Bikoy.

Whoever he is, he must be one of the political geniuses in our time. His objective and ambition is to position dependable men in the upper circle.

He has the superb stratagem like a king that is willing to suffer his pawn and pride to win the game. After-all a golden belt is precious than a golden name, because the golden name will be easily regained when you own the golden belt.

Kuya Bong Go as we all knew has served the President (mayor) for more than two decades. It is beyond question that the length in service like on-the-job trainee vouches his mastery of skills in politics: planning, management and decision-making that Tatay Digong shared to him through actual hands-on. Many like him that by mere eye contact with his master could perform what his master’s look commands. Needless to elaborate further that Kuya Bong has acquired the brilliancy of Tatay Digong in a span of time.

Thanks to Bikoy’s humorous circus, Davao city aside from producing a President and producing a house speaker will soon produce another senate president if not a majority leader.

The matrix Secretary Panelo presented to the media is nothing but a mere optical toy in a symmetrical pattern of lines. True or not, no ordinary citizen is interested to dig further. Even the committee of Senator Lacson blatantly expressed of losing its appetite to investigate. With the matrix, and the nearly end diggings, Kuya Bong is already out from the issue and goes to the exit, bagging the grandiose “V” as in VICTORY on Monday, May 13.
