AN ESTIMATED P150,000 worth of shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride was seized in a drug bust conducted by personnel of Police Station 3 at Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City Friday morning, May 10.
Police identified the suspect Rodin Decin, 30, of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.
Police Major Ruel Culanag, chief of Police Station 3, said Friday Decin was caught selling shabu to a police undercover at 2:45 a.m.
Police recovered from Decin’s possession five sachets of shabu weighing 12 grams, one .22 caliber revolver loaded with two live ammunition, the P500 marked money and other drug paraphernalia.
Culanag said Decin was identified as high-value target in Barangay Banago.
He said the suspect is detained at their custodial facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and violation of Commission on Elections gun ban. (MAP)
