Check voting receipts, Church urges

THE Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is appealing for voters to check if their chosen candidates are indeed reflected on the voting receipts.

PPCRV ground coordinator Father Manuel Flores asked voters to double check discrepancies.

“We are calling for peace and for the voters to check kung yung binoto mo ang lalabas sa resibo, double check kung may problema, para matugunan ng Comelec,” Flores said.

The PPCRV will doing an unofficial parallel count of returns on Monday, May 13, to aid in the election count for the 129 villages of Baguio and the 13 municipalities of Benguet.

The Church also called on candidates to be good sport whatever the outcome of the Elections.

“Yung mga supporters, wag na mag siraan, ang mga salita na nakakasakit iwasan na, let’s make this a clean and fair election, if you believe in your candidate, you do not need to destroy others,” Flores implored.

Flores added the PPCRV Baguio and Benguet had set up its main headquarters at the Bishops Residence.
