THROUGHOUT the years, Uyanguren (or formally known as Ramon Magsaysay Avenue) has been known as a destination for hardware demands in Davao City.
Last May 8, Wednesday, a new gamechanger in the hardware industry had its grand opening - 3J Goldren Dragon Industrial Machinery Corporation of the Weld Powertools Industrial Machinery Corporation.
The depot-type store, located at the Unit 1 Villa Abrille of Ramon Magsaysay Extension, is not your usual traditional type hardware store in the city.
With affordable and reasonable price over its competitors, patrons are assured with its high quality items shipped directly from its manufacturing company.
"The opening of 3J Goldren Dragon is our answer to the increasing demand for construction and industrial items, to back the Build, Build, Build program of President Rodrigo Duterte," said 3J owner and Weld Powertools chief executive officer Joy Bagaloyos.
Along with the Build program comes the continious progress of Davao City, as seen with the numerous construction of high-rise buildings and road expansions.
Bagaloyos admitted the opening of their third store in Davao City was during a perfect timing.
"We are an additional asset to the program. We wanted to help sustain the demand for infrastructure equipment, and we are ready for that," she said.
Bagaloyos said contractors, builders and even ordinary patrons will not be disappointed as imported equipment such as engines, generators, welding machines, pumps, power tools, handtools, accessories, spare parts and other hardware items, are shipped straight to the city.

As the golden dragon, stylized as the number three in its logo, symbolizes power, strength, and good luck, the people behind the company also sees the store to be a household name in the future, as it eyes to expand its operation in other areas of Davao City, and also in its neighboring cities.
