HUGPONG ng Pagbabago (HNP) bets in Davao del Norte drumbeat their platforms as they wooed voters in Carmen during the Miting de Avance which was graced by local celebrities on Saturday.
Hundreds of individuals showed their support and trooped down to the covered court in the town of Carmen. It was the last major campaign of the candidates before elections scheduled today.
The event was led by aspiring gubernatorial Rodolfo del Rosario Jr., vice governor candidate Lawyer Joey Millan and reelectionist Davao del Norte second district Representative Antonio Floirendo Jr. who shared the same stage where they all talk about their respective platforms that they wanted to push once they win in the midterm poll.
“Mag-ampo ta sa simbahan, mag-ampo ta para mahatagan ta sa Ginoong Diyos [this] eleksyon ug matabangan ta nga makapili ug mga tarong nga mga kandidato,” del Rosario said in his speech.
Del Rosario is running against Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-LABAN) gubernatorial bet Edwin Jubahib.
The event was also filled with performances from local talents and celebrities like singer Renz Verano, singer-comedienne Kakai Bautista and General’s Daughter star actor JC de Vera who entertained the crowd.
