RE-ELECTIONISTS Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia along with Congressman Greg Gasataya and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, all of Grupo Progreso, took lead in initial results from several polling precincts in Bacolod City last night.
Initial result from Cluster Precinct No. 200 in Barangay Mandalagan showed that for congressional candidate Gasataya had 443 votes his opponents Kevin Moises had 22 votes, Monico Puentevella had 214 votes.
For mayoral candidate Leonardia had 443 votes his opponents Jocelle Batapa-Sigue had 246 votes and Ray Carmona had seven votes.
For vice mayoral candidate, Familiaran had 388 votes while his opponent Jude Thaddeus Sayson had 279 votes.
The race for councilor Allan Arroyo - 89 votes; Homer Bais - 261; Edwin Balajadia - 95; Archie Baribar - 336; Willy David - 89; Simple Distrito - 354; Reynaldo Ebreo - 66; Al Espino - 330; Celia Flor - 199; Wilson Gamboa Jr.- 279; Rommel Jamero - 95; Paulo Lacson - 64; Carl Lopez - 392; Bobby Montelibano - 163; Renecito Novero - 392; Bart Orola - 291; Ana Marie Palermo - 322; Kalaw Puentevella - 223; Dindo Ramos - 308; Cindy Rojas - 399; Israel Salanga - 310; Bing Sibug - 155; Marlon Solidum - 241; Elmer Sy - 319; Rico Villafuerte - 108; Elmer Villanueva - 102; and Jason Villarosa - 197.
Initial result from Cluster Precinct No. 6 in Barangay 2 showed that Gasataya had 329 votes while Puentevella had 330 votes; Leonardia - 389 votes while Batapa-Sigue had 283 votes; Familiaran had 339 votes while Sayson had 298 votes.
Initial result in Barangay 13, Gasataya had 330 votes, Puentevella had 159 votes; Leonardia had 378 votes, Batapa-Sigue had 129 votes; Familiaran had 313 votes and Sayson had 249 votes.
The Commission on Elections is expected to release its partial and unofficial results today at the Sangguniang Panlungsod at the Bacolod Government Center.
