Summer bridal fair to remember

HM EVENTS, a wedding and events planner in Cagayan de Oro City, presented its summer bridal fair in the city, the Summer Love - Bridal Fair, which took place at the event center of SM Downtown Premier last May 9 until 12.

Summer Love - Bridal Fair is a celebration of wedding supplier, talents and industry leaders in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan cities and Misamis Oriental.

“We want to try on the market for summer and we also want to have a different variety on approach for our bridal fair,” Mae Ann Hope Marquez of HM Events and the organizer of the bridal fair said.

“Summer because we want also to have a summer feel. The last bridal fair, what we did was Elegance and Class. But right now its still elegance and class but its Summer Love,” she added.

According to Marquez, the four-day bridal fair is composed of more than 30 exhibitors consists of reception venues, coordinators, event stylists, make-up artists, photographers, invitation, videographers, cake/dessert, mobile bars, photobooth, bridal car, prenup stylist, lights and sounds, designer, grooming, jewelry, and others.

“[Wedding] depends on the year because years ago, the peak season for weddings are... included yung (is the month) May. And then years and years and years ago, it’s the June bride. But right now it’s the December and January because of the holiday and Christmas season,” Marquez said, as she describe the trends of weddings.

“Most of the clients are very particular on the details, they’re very hands on,” she said, adding that most prefer the minimalist but still elegant weddings.

The exhibitors in the bridal fair include: The Analog Heart, One Happy Story, Jasper Cuizon, Ravie Wong, Lorden Titular, Lenten Anaya, Alain Adeva, Cleve Janobas, Regine Nailga, Accent Cagayan, Elegance by Bem, Psalms, Party Everywhere, Paper Works, MVP, Digital Eye, Brospage, Tan Suezo, Lights and Focus, HM Events, Casa de Canitoan, C-Resort, Apple Tree, Xavier Estates, Pink Box, Swirlz, Photocrib, Paul Cars, Styling Diaries, Powered Audio, Carmel Kho, I-Lash, Shave Bar, and Reyna and Son.
