“INNOVATION in Action” is the empowering theme for this year’s Cebu Business Month (CBM), the flagship project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) this June 2019.

CBM—now on its 23rd year—through its current team stewarded by overall chairperson Lilu Aliño, emphasizes the importance of innovation in all business aspects, especially in the digital age. CBM 2019 hopes to influence MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) through innovation, to bring real benefits, drive growth and business.

Some of CBM’s highlights include: The Grand Opening Salvo at Ayala Center Cebu on May 31; the “One Town, One Product” exhibit from May 31 to June 2 at Ayala Center Cebu; the Cebu International Film Festival Curtain Raiser on June 5 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu; the Entrepreneurship Summit and Innovation Expo from June 12 to 14 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino; the Tourism Innovation Forum on June 18 at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu; the Business in Golf (BIG) Tournament at Alta Vista Golf Club on June 20; Lumba’g Laag sa Sugbu from June 21 to 23, (Consolacion, Cebu) with a Lumba’g Laag Awards event on June 25 at SM City Cebu; the “How to Franchise Your Business” seminar by the Philippine Franchise Association on June 26 at Golden Prince Hotel and Suites etc. The Grand Chamber Awards and Fellowship will be the final and formal Salvo at Marco Polo Plaza on June 28.

Cebu Business Month aims to inspire, promote and grow Cebu businesses. Moreover, this is supplemented by the team’s desire of enhancing enterprise and effecting wide-scale economic development, especially among the MSMEs.Good luck, CCCI!
