Legarda vows inclusive growth for Antique

SAN JOSE, Antique – Congresswoman-elect Loren Legarda vows for inclusive growth in Antique as her commitment for winning the congressional seat in the recently concluded midterm national elections.

Legarda gathered 199,187 votes compared to her opponent incumbent Congressman Exequiel Javier with 69,176 votes.

In a press conference held Wednesday, May 15, at Xela Hotel, Legarda said she will try to balance progress in environmental conservation in achieving inclusive growth.

“This is my expertise in achieving inclusive growth. I will also integrate enhancement of heritage, arts and culture in the province through various legislation to be pass in the house of Congress,” she added.

She also plans to bring government and investors closer among all the residents of Antique. (SunStar Philippines)
