4 arrested with counterfeit money

FOUR persons were arrested inside a resort in Pasay City for bringing US$288,700 worth of fake money around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, May 16.

The arrest came after a police officer received a phone call from the resort's in-house security guard about the presence of four men with counterfeit bills.

The police then responded to verify the report and arrested three Korean nationals identified as Tiange Wu, 31, a casino operator; Song Ho Sang, 53; and James Park; as well as Fernando Silangan, 44, a businessman. (Al Padilla/SunStar Philippines)
