AT A recent event at the Dior counter in Rustan’s beauty department, Ayala Center Cebu, some of the brand’s friends and best clients were treated to an exclusive afternoon of free beauty makeovers. The indulgent experience to try out Dior’s skin care and cosmetics was complemented by champagne, caviar pie, and other hors d’oeuvres. Here are a few temptations from the counter to ogle for yourself this weekend. Beauty addicts will be wide eyed at the hundreds of lipsticks and beautiful palettes on display!
Dior Backstage
Of anywhere in the Philippines, Cebu had the first counter to have Dior Backstage. This range of products and tools is drawn from the behind the scenes of Dior fashion shows, where the unique makeup looks have to be pulled off as quickly as possible before the models are sent down the runway. One of the range’s bestsellers is the Face and Body Foundation, which comes in 40 shades in a coverage buildable from a natural glow to full coverage.
Miss Dior EDT
Miss Dior was born in 1947, but has been reimagined and modernized over the decades to suit the Dior woman of the present day. Dior’s perfume creator, Francois Demachy, thinks of the new eau de toilette as “a musical score in which every note counts, and every nuance, although heard, remains indefinable.” Citruses surround a heart of blood orange and juicy mandarin, with a light patchouli subtly binding these notes together.

Redness, shine and pores are common skin issues that Filipinas have to deal with due to our hot, humid climate.
