STARBUCKS fans are in for a treat as the popular coffee chain releases a new set of core beverages. It has been a while since it introduced a new core beverage, which means that these are not limited edition drinks.
Launched on April 9, 2019, these are the Triple Mocha Frappuccino, Dark Caramel Coffee Frappuccino, and the Red Velvet Cake Cream Frappuccino.
Starbucks promises that dessert lovers will fall in love with the Triple Mocha Frappuccino. The drink is an elevated Mocha Frappuccino that is topped with Dark Mocha, layered between their signature whipped cream, and a dollop of Dark Mocha Sauce at the bottom of the cup. The whipped cream is infused with cold brew, white chocolate, and dark caramel.
The Dark Caramel Coffee Frappuccino is topped with dark caramel sauce with layers of signature whipped cream infused with cold brew, white chocolate, and dark caramel.
Lastly, the Red Velvet Cake Cream Frappuccino is a confectionery-inspired blend of chocolate chips, mocha sauce, raspberry syrup, vanilla syrup, and topped with whipped cream.
The drinks are available in tall (P170), grande (P185), and venti (P200) sizes.
Summer specials
On top of the new beverages, Starbucks has also rolled out its summer specials.
For their summer beverage, Starbucks has the Mixed Berry Frappuccino with pomegranate pearls. The drink is mixed berry sauce blended with milk topped with whipped cream.
For their food, they have the Apple Butterscotch Cheesecake, S’mores Cake, Banana Chocolate Chia Cookie, Cheese Danish, Sausage Mushroom Puff, and Chicken Parmigiana.
Personally, I liked the Banana Chocolate Chia Cookie and the Cheese Danish.
Loaded with oats, banana, dark Belgian chocolate, and chia seeds, the Banana Chocolate Chia Cookie is a treat for those who love chocolate chip cookies. The cookie is also very fragrant because of the banana.
The Cheese Danish is a buttery flaky pastry filled with cream cheese. It is like an upscaled version of the much-loved cheese bread.
