Vice Ganda to do concert this May

ACE comedian Vice Ganda's showbiz career is definitely heading to a positive direction this year with his upcoming solo concert.

In a television interview Wednesday night, Vice confirmed that he will be doing his first ever solo concert this May in Araneta Coliseum.

The target date of his upcoming concert is set on the 15th of May.

“First time na solo. Nakapag-guest guest na din ako dati sa Araneta pero yung ako mismo yung may concert first time,” he said.

The “Showtime” host said he is nervous right now knowing that a lot of things is set for him this 2010.

Vice also disclosed that there are talks to use his famous line "May nag-text" by a telecommunication provider, though everything is still on its early stage.

The comedian is likewise scheduled to do the remake of Roderick Paulate's 1988 and 1990 movie "Petrang Kabayo I and II" under Viva Films.

Vice recently had an emotional yet still funny interview with the King of talk Boy Abunda wherein he was asked on his reactions to his detractors.

He said: “Kung sinasabi nilang mayabang ako, oo mayabang ako.

The comedian also made a promise live on national television that he will stay the same and will not let fame change him.

He added that he will soar above the challenge and will do everything to make people laugh.

With the fame and fortune he is getting right now, Vice said he is currently improving his mom's three-door apartment, which he converted into just one big house.

Vice wanted his mom to just stay in the Philippines and not worry about her work in the United States.

Vice meanwhile is hoping that people will continue to love and support him for this is his much awaited time. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
