Lazatin vows to continue programs for 1st District

MABALACAT CITY – Re-elected Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II has vowed to continue his programs on health, education and infrastructure.

Lazatin issued the statement shortly after being proclaimed winner in the congressional race, defeating Coach Joseller “Yeng” Guiao and Bernadette David.

Lazatin garnered a total of 152,169 votes from the three localities of Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang town which covers the district.

Guiao had a total votes of 107,078, and David, 36,200.

Lazatin said he is very happy about his re-election and this will result into more projects for the district.

He thanked his supporters, saying “mabibiyayaan ng husto ang distrito sa pagtitiwala sa atin.”

Lazatin also said the election of his brother, Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin as mayor of Angeles City will mean an effective implementation of programs.

“Mapagtutulungan namin ang mga programs,” he said.

When asked about defeating Guiao in the congressional race twice, Guiao told newsmen: “Sports sports lang.”
