Thousands of student-athletes will compete again for honors in Davao City.

Following the Davao Regional Athletics Association (Davraa) Meet in January and the Palarong Pambansa 2019 held April 27 to May 4, the Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa) will be staging their national games here as well on May 19 to 24.

As the official media partner of Prisaa, SunStar Davao will not only produce stories for our daily newsprint but also digital content that will be posted on all our social media accounts.

“SunStar Davao has always been at the forefront of delivering the latest local sports stories to its readers. You can expect this level of coverage being the official media partner of Prisaa 2019,” SunStar Davao general manager Tessie B. Alcoriza said.

Months leading to the Prisaa 2019, SunStar Davao has earlier released a series of stories and videos on the hosting and games preparations.

One of the videos that has recently been posted was a friendly reminder to participants on some of the local laws in the city. Among these are policies on smoking and jaywalking.

SunStar Davao also released a video on different venues of the National Prisaa Games 2019.

“Through online content and stories we have produced in the past months, we were able to give our readers and followers a glimpse of what they can expect during the Prisaa,” Marianne L. Saberon-Abalayan, SunStar Davao sports editor, said.

SunStar Davao will also be streaming live on its Facebook page the opening ceremonies of the National Prisaa Games 2019 which is being held in partnership with the Philippine Sports Commission, city government of Davao, Department of Education and Commission on Higher Education.
