Group sets Clark Cycling Challenge on May 25

ADCENTRAL Consulting, organizer of the Clark Challenge (CCC) and Pampanga Bike Adventure Tour (PBAT), has scheduled its second Clark Cycling Challenge on May 25.

Events lead organizer Edna Eufemio said the Clark Cycling Challenge is a bicycle fun ride around the Freeport’s tourism spots and business districts.

“It’s our second year. We are inviting all cycling enthusiasts and riders to join the second Clark Cycling Challenge on May 25, 2019. This is a fun ride around Clark tourism and business destination, share bonding moments with your friends and meet new members of the biking communities in and around Manila and Central Luzon,” Eufemio said.

She added that the outdoor event is open to individuals who use any “human-powered” bikes. Cyclists and groups who are interested to join the cycling challenged may register online by downloading the Clark Cycling Challenge application.

Eufemio thanked their sponsors including the Clark Development Corporation, EmergeLocal, Smart Communications, Department of Tourism-Central Luzon, Pocari Sweat, Trinx Bicycles Philippines, Joyride Bikeshop, Suicide Squad Resto Grill Bar, Uhealth BeautyPlus Trading, and My Haven Spa.

The participating partner-bike stops are The Mansion at the Villages, El Kabayo, W Clark Hotel and Resort, Koko Buri, Widus Hotel and Casino, Quest Hotel, Alpha Aviation Group, Dinosaurs Island Clark, Clark Water Corp., Mimosa Casino and others.

In this event, the second CCC, in partnership with Rotary Club Angeles Skytown, will also donate bicycles as part of its “Bike-to-School Project”, meant to give away bicycles to high school students who have long commute to their schools.

Clark has become a favorite site for duathlon, bike races, and other similar outdoor events. CDC president Noel F. Manankil recently announced the completion of bike lanes inside the Freeport. This will allow a safe ride and tour for biker inside this fast-growing tourist destination.
