PEOPLE who commit suicide usually are those suffering from deep pains. Its causes now vary and are usually complex. Although some people still believe that individuals who commit suicide are insane, the truth is that people who are in deep pains are much prone to ending their own lives.

Suicide can actually happen when stressors and health problems converge leading to feelings of hopelessness and desolation. Here are some signs of a person who are likely to end his or her life.

1. Isolation and withdrawal. This happens when a person decides to nourish human loneliness not because they truly enjoy solitude but because they were exhausted trying to blend into the world several times but have never been accepted.

2. Oversleeping or deprived of sleep. Every man has his secret sorrows and often times it is revealed through his or sleep duration or pattern. Usually, when a person has sleep issues, it means the person is sad. Sleep deviations were found to be a warning sign of worsening suicidal thoughts.

3. Feelings of being a burden to others. It happens when a person feels her or his existence is simply not needed because most people are hinting hatred of their existence. They feel that their existence has no more sense at all.

4. Feelings of worthlessness. People may feel unwanted and unneeded and that’s the worst cause of pain and type of poverty in this world. They simply need acceptance but all they ever get is the feeling of being unwanted. When a person feels no importance, life is very cold.

People might think that those who have suicidal thoughts are overacting and attention seekers. The truth is that there are people sometimes that feels they are worthless.

They simply need to feel loved. As what Mother Teresa said, “being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.”
