THE Golden State Warriors (GSW) are going to their 5th straight NBA Finals at the expense of the Portland Trailblazers after “ripping” RIP CITY apart in game 4 via a classic OT thriller. I thought it was a “pabigay” when Steph Curry traveled with ten seconds remaining to give Portland, and brother Seth, a chance at winning in regulation. It did not happen and the rest is history. Kudos to GSW as I’m sure the die hards will be celebrating with a lot of GSMs and doble negros, dba Eboy?
In the East, the Giannis is up a game over Kawhi but things may soon change if the Raptors find a way to get win no. 2 at home. Of course, the Bucks are still favored to win the conference title but with Kawhi’s magic still peaking, and bouncing the way it did in game 7 versus the Sixers, you can never count the “North” out especially after Sansa Stark has taken her seat as Queen of the North and Jon Snow joining the wildlings. It sure was a wild finish to the dismay of many. But who cares, Drogon and Tyrion may still come out with another script that would run for another 8 seasons. “Agbuya pay ngata ni Imbaw?”
Congratulations to the Ateneo Lady Eagles for that convincing win against the UST tigresses and reclaiming the title in the UAAP 81 Volleyball Finals. It was a championship for the books as they had to claw their way back from a 0-1 deficit, winning game 2 in another come-from-behind weave and eventually stamping their class in a straight sets championship victory in the win-or-go-home game 3. Way to go Lady Eagles!
The elections are over and some of the winners declared. Some losers have been real “statesmen and stateswomen” while the others continue to cry foul. Move on na, nwoh? Talo ngarud! Wahahahahaha...
