ANGELES CITY -- Mayor-elect Carmelo Lazatin reiterated his educational program for indigent students when he joined the Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education Angeles City Division at Sto. Domingo Integrated School.

Known for his strong advocacy on education, Lazatin said he will focus on providing accessible education to Angeleños.

"The incoming administration will work hand-in-hand with all stakeholders to provide quality education to all Angeleños," he said.

Lazatin, of the Partido Federal Ng Pilipinas, defeated incumbent Vice Mayor Bryan Nepomuceno and former Clark Airport chief Alexander Cauguiran in the mayoralty race during the recently concluded midterm elections.

Aside from education, Lazatin said he will also work on health programs for his constituents.

The incoming mayor cited in particular the upgrading of services at the Ospital Ning Angeles and free medicines for the people.
