WINNERS of the #ILoveZamboanga vlog competition have been unveiled after an enthusiastic response from local residents to showcase the best of Zamboanga City using the vlogging medium.
John Mitchell Lua’s Explore: A day in Zamboanga featuring Kaheya Teano grabbed the top spot of the vlog competition, with Nilo Salva's 10 Things I Love About Zamboanga City and Jezreel Iglesia’s 10 Reasons Why I Love Zamboanga taking the second and third spots, respectively.
Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said that a total of nine vlog entries made the cut for the competition, with each participating entries showcasing the participants’ personal and creative take about Zamboanga City, its sights and sounds, history, and culture.
Salazar said that all entries can be viewed in the city's official Youtube channel and at the Zamboanga Hermosa Fest Facebook page.
She said the top winners and finalists were duly feted during the Dia de General Alvarez celebrations on Saturday, May 18. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
