Villanueva: Sabsabong ti Mayo: A Marian tribute

WE ARE cordially inviting the community to witness and participate in the first Flores de Mayo by the Diocese of Baguio this coming May 31, Friday.

“Sta. Maria Sabsabong ti Mayo”, is a tribute and thanksgiving event to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. This special event will start with the 5 p.m. mass at the Our Lady of Atonement Church.

The celebration will be presided by Fr. Marlon Urmaza. After the mass, a ceremonial crowning of the different portrayals of Marian titles will be done at the Cathedral grounds. The procession shall then proceed to Session Rd. and end up at the Rose Garden where there will be a short program. This activity is in partnership with the Porta Vaga Mangaywan Corp. and the City Government of Baguio.

To clothe and adorn our Baguio personalities, beauty queens and models are designers Jerome Bagni (Queen of Charity and Reyna Banderada), King George Bueno (Queen of Faith and Hope), Cesz Calaguas (Reyna Abogada), Ayvs Calub (Queen of Prophets and Apostles), Don Cristobal (Queen of Heaven and Stars), Miguel David (Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and Queen Conceived without Original Sin), Eros Goze (Queen of Virgin and Mystical Rose), Jan Paul Martinez (Queen of All Saints and Queen of Peace), Julienne Paran (Reyna Sentenciada), Hans Jeo Rapanan (Queen Most Pure), Shiva Rivera (Mother of Divine Grace and Most Chaste), Pia Santillan (Queen of Martyrs and Queen of Confessors), Karu Villanueva (Mother of Christ and Mother of the Church), and Andrew Visaya Jr. (Queen of Angels and Queen of Patriarchs).
