THE City Government of San Fernando, through its City Environment and Natural Resources Office, held its Pyestang Fernandino edition of “Refill Revolution” on May 24, at Barangay Sto. Rosario.
Using their own containers, Fernandinos were able to buy products at discounted prices from the city’s partner suppliers, Fabs Chemical Products Trading and Nutri-Asia, Inc.
Fabs’ dishwashing liquid, fabric conditioner, liquid detergent, car and motorcycle shampoo, and hand soap were availed for only P20-P35 per liter. Nutri-Asia, Inc. made available their brands like “Datu Puti” vinegar and soy sauce, with prices ranging from P15-P18.
Refill Revolution has been staged in the City of San Fernando since 2018 and it is part of the city’s campaign in reducing plastic pollution. (PR)
