WHILE it is not a fairly new restaurant, it was my first time to have a meal at Blah, Blah, Blah by The Good Food Company.

Located at the JJ Commune Compound in Obrero, Blah Blah Blah offers diners reasonably priced comfort food.

I knew about the restaurant for quite some time now but have not visited at all. It was a post of an Apple Crumble that made me decide to finally check the restaurant out. A friend and I decided to have lunch here to take a break from the busy week.

For my lunch here I had the Braised BBQ Ribs (P235) and Chicken Tenders (P165). For our dessert, I ordered the Mango & Graham Crepe with Vanilla Ice Cream (P105) and the Apple Crumble with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream (P105).

The Chicken Tenders was served with honey, lemon, and mustard dip. I find the chicken tenders to be quite good. It was juicy and even tasty without the dip. I also like that it was not dry.

The Braised BBQ Ribs is pork ribs braised for six hours and glazed with The Good Food Company’s Original Hickory Smoked Barbecue Sauce. The dish was served with a side salad and rice. I liked their barbecued ribs and it was quite tender too. The sauce was especially good.

As for the desserts, I really enjoyed the Apple Crumble with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. I also find their homemade ice cream to be also quite good.

However, while the Mango & Graham Crepe with Vanilla Ice Cream was beautifully plated, it was not that memorable. It was your regular mango, crushed Graham crackers, and cream dessert served as a crepe.

Overall, I was satisfied with my dining experience here. I was very much happy with the food I had and would not mind having dinner or lunch here.

I find Blah Blah Blah by The Good Food Company as a pretty decent restaurant in the downtown area. The food was quite good too. For friends who want to catch up with one another, this is a pretty neat place to hang out at.
