Local products showcased in Cabanatuan malls

NUEVA ECIJA -- Two SM malls recently hosted over the weekend an exhibit which highlighted locally-made products like delicacies, organic handmade soaps, home décors, fashion items from native materials and others.

At SM Megacenter, the mall in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) showcased products from 20 members of Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council (PSMEDC).

The project is aimed not only to generate income but also to promote the best quality products made by local entrepreneurs.

Brigida Pili, DTI provincial director, urged mall goers to patronize local products as support to their goals in helping entrepreneur grow their business.

“Every single item you bought from this people will give them encouragement to continue and do better on their products. We will never know, maybe in the future they will be make it international” said Pili.

At SM City Cabanatuan, the DOT products offered at The SM Store, SM Supermarket, Harvest Café and Buko ni Juan were exhibited at the event center.

Mall goers were able to experience delicacies produced from different provinces in the country. (PR)
