Sakuting dance

Young performers dance the “Sakuting” during the Tam-awan Village International Arts Festival. The dance portrays a mock fight depicting the war using sticks. The dance is believed to have been originated from Abra and was adapted and became popular in Sagada, Mt. Province. (Jean Nicole Cortes)
