CLARK FREEPORT -- A state-of-the-art medical center here, which initiated a medical tourism program a few years ago, has earned an international award recently.
The Medical City Clark (TMC Clark), which is located at the Clark Global City, bagged the Marketing Initiative and Primary Care Provider of the Year Award at the Healthcare Asia Awards.
The hospital earned the Marketing Initiative of the Year Award for its “Pink Walk: #BreastWalkEver” and the Primary Care of the Year Award for its Client Management Program.
Under the Pink Walk:#BreastWalkEver program, TMC Clark, in cooperation with the Philippine Society of General Surgery and the Philippine College of Surgeons, organized an event for the benefit of breast cancer patients.
The medical center initiated a walkathon to create awareness and encourage annual screening for early detection and prevention of breast cancer, which accounts for about 15 percent of cancer deaths among women around the world.
TMC Clark also spearheaded a client management program to provide companies inside and outside the Clark Freeport complete administration of their occupational health.
This program integrates occupational health standards to the companies’ goals.
The medical center has vowed to continue developing marketing initiatives to promote its Clinical Management Program through education and partnership with public institutions.
The Healthcare Asia Awards 2019 was held on May 3, 2019 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.
