THE much awaited soap opera that will star young actress Bea Alonzo and Gretchen Baretto is now on the works.
In a television interview, Gretchen said the project will tackle issues and relationships of siblings in the family.
“Magiging magkapatid… it will feature yung struggles namin and yung pagmamahal ng magkapatid,” she said.
Gretchen also said they are doing workshops as preparation for the soap and that she already got a lot of help from Bea.
“Nagtulungan talaga kami sa eksena, na magfocus or kung gaano kabilis dumating sa emosyon na yun,” she said.
Bea meanwhile admitted that she, at first thought, will be intimidated with Gretchen especially the latter is already an established artist.
“Akala ko yung maiintimidate ako ng sobra, kasi si Ms. Gretchen Barretto yan eh,” she said.
Even during Sun.Star's interview with Bea during the premiere night of her movie with John Lloyd Cruz “Miss You Like Crazy,” the young lady was seen a little bit overwhelmed by her co-star.
Bea said she's happy to share the small screen with La Greta. “Ibang-iba tong soap na ito so excited ako lalo na dun sa kung ano yung ma-ooffer ko dun sa mga followers ko sa primetime bida."
Gretchen meanwhile attended the “Miss You Like Crazy” premiere night and she was very impressed with Bea's acting prowess.
She was caught saying that she's a bit pressured working with Bea because the young actress is really very good not only on TV but also in big screens. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
