AN ESTIMATED P604, 600 worth of shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride were seized in separate drug busts conducted by Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in various areas in Bacolod on Wednesday to Thursday, May 29 to 30, 2019.
Operatives of Police Station 3 led by Police Major Ruel Culanag seized four sachets of shabu weighing 18 grams with estimated market value of P225,000 from a minor in Purok Tahong, Barangay 2 at 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police also recovered from the minor’s possession drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money.
The minor is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3 and will be endorsed to the Social Development Center.
Police Station 4 led by Police Captain Rey Tolosa also recovered seven sachets of shabu weighing 5.8 grams with estimated market value of P69,600 from suspected drug pusher Guiner Agsam, 39, of Barangay 2, at Purok Mainuwaon, Barangay 19 Thursday morning.
The operatives also recovered from Agsam’s possession drug paraphernalia and the P500 marked money.
A high-value target in Barangay 35 was also arrested by operatives of Police Station 1 led by Police Major Jovil Sedel in Purok Mabinuligan at about 1 a.m. Thursday.
Arrested was Luis Capalihan, 47.
Police recovered from Capalihan’s possession eight sachets of shabu worth P70,000 and the P100 marked money.
On Monday afternoon, May 27, operatives of Police Station 7 also seized 21 sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P120,000 in Purok Pili, Barangay 8.
The operation also led to the arrest of 17 drug suspects Joy Yap, 39, of Barangay 8; George Lisaca, 41, of La Carlota; Raymond Sibornido, 32, of Bacolod; J-R Emeterio, 29, of Barangay Sta. Cruz; Tonton Yap, 28, of Bacolod; Randy Caduhada, 27, of Barngay 7; Jerry Catapang, 23, of Barangay Tangub; Emmanuel Danchoon, 33, of Barangay 35; Rico Anieve, 40, of Bago City; Eduardo Denosta, 35, high value target and resident of Barangay 17; Glen Yap, 53, of Barangay 10; Fermi Cumawas, 40, of Barangay Sum-ag; Andrew Mangbanua, 40, of Barangay 17; Roberto Carasaquit, 36, of Barangay 9; Allan Cristales, 55, of Barangay 17; Ian Bandoquillo, 37, of Barangay 21; and Bernie Baldevia, 36, of La Carlota City.
Police also recovered from the suspects’ possession drug paraphernalia and the P200 marked money.
Operatives of Police Station 2 also seized six sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P120,000 from a high value target and his companion in Barangay 2 about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Arrested was Denmark Dorimon, 23, a high value target; and his companion Raymund Espinosa, 26, of Zone 15, Talisay City.
Police also recovered from the suspects’ possession the P500 marked money.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facilities of Police Stations 1,2,4 and 7 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MAP)
