LH Prime holds workshop on motherhood

MOTHERHOOD can be daunting especially for first-time mothers. They often have a lot of questions and even some worries from birthing to taking care of the baby when it finally comes out. It takes preparation before mothers can rely on their maternal instincts but with dedication and the right tools, mothers can start preparing for a happy and healthy motherhood.

As a major part of its mission of providing Filipinos with health education, Cebu-based medical diagnostic facility LH Prime Medical Clinic organized a special motherhood workshop called “What to Expect After Childbirth” for free last May 24, 2019 at 10 Dove St., Oakridge Business Park, A.S. Fortuna St., Mandaue City.

LH Prime invited Marini Tabon-Esguerra, a licensed doctor of medicine with a specialization in pediatrics and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, to discuss newborn care, feeding, developmental milestones and red flags. Expecting mothers and fathers learned about newborn care and safety which involves activities and precautions, the guiding principles on breastfeeding and bottle feeding and some guidelines to assess the baby’s development at each stage.

According to LH Prime general manager John Anthony Go, aside from this motherhood workshop, a lot of seminars and symposiums on health are in line to educate the community about various health topics.

Currently, LH Prime Medical Clinic has six branches in Cebu since it first opened in 2004 on A.S. Fortuna St. It offers advanced technological facilities and assured premium customer service at cost-effective prices with available in-house specialized doctors during its clinic hours.

Visit LH Prime Medical Clinic and experience a holistic kind of medical service at any of its branches in Mandaue, Mactan, Consolacion, Minglanilla and Labangon.
