THE Highland Weddings: the Baguio City Bridal Fair, now on its 5th year, showcased an array of essential weddings and event suppliers through thematic booths and displays. The 3-day event was packed with exciting talks, glam sessions, acoustic performances, and fashion runways giving the spectators and guests entertainment and vital information for event planning. Highland Weddings is indeed a basic platform for industry players, catering and supporting Baguio City as the choice wedding destination.
The Highland Weddings was held last May 24 to 26 at SM City Baguio under De Stijl Image Reinvented (Show Production and Direction) and Philtrade Exhibits by Ignacio Caluyo (Event Management). The featured fashion designers were Rio Haris Gopeng, Oskhie Designs by Oscar Binay-o, FBC Gowns and Tailoring by Pina Espada, Jiya Gowns by Jonaida Bogwana, Julienne Paran, Karu Villanueva, King George Bueno, Kristoffer Tabili, Raine Macaraeg, and Daisy Dorothy.
The segments were Day 1 Highland Weddings Kids’ Fashion Show, Weddings and Debuts Essentials, and the Highland Couture; Day 2 Highland Beauty Sessions, Highland Captures, and the Highland Bride and Groom Mannequins; and Day 3 Awards and Recognition Program, Songs of Love, and the Highland Weddings Grand Fashion Show.
Special awards were the ff. Rich Martinez Photography (Best in Social Media); Pop-Up Desserts (Best Cake Design); Holiday Inn Baguio City Center (Most Visited Booth); BB Weddings and Events Gallery (Style Award); and Creative Events (Best Booth).
